Google accidetly resetting accounts

I say if you are a Gmail user you would want to back up your data soon, cause as many as 500,000 gmail users have foung their account vanished into thin air. Not that it no longer exists. But everything in them has been reset. Many have reported that their inboxes with years worth of messages, chat logs, and all have been deleted. They get treated as a new user with the welcome messages from gmail as well. Google said that this bug affected only 0.19% of Gmail users and the Engineers are trying to fix the bug soon and the deleted emails will be restored. We will see if this was just a temporary glitch in their system or a long term failure.
