Apple broke the 3 billion mark just last year and now it is all set to break the 10 million mark, thanks to iPad and growing accessibility of iPhones worldwide. This much downloads is even greater than the current world population.
Apple has decided to conduct a competition to honor this. The person who downloads the 10 billionth app will win a 10,000$ iTunes gift card. The terms and conditions are that you must be 13 years older and a legal resident of one of the participating countries. If the contest is promoted on the front page of app store in your country then cheer up you can participate. Only 25 entries per iTunes account or e-mail address are accepted per day.
